Italy Shoot-Out

New this year, athletes will have the opportunity to participate in the Italy Shoot-Out Basketball Tournament held in Foligno. Italy.  All games will take place at the Sports Complex and a variety of indoor facilities located throughout the city. In recent years, basketball has dramatically increased in popularity amongst young people, which has impacted the significant improvement in skill and overall team development. Italian Teams are quick, agile and exhibit outstanding fundamental play. Our USA Teams will be challenged.

Within the Tournament, a special Basketball Clinic will be held by the Italian Coaches. This clinic will enable both Italian and American athletes to train together in an elite environment. Although different languages will be spoken, basketball is the common denominator that makes this unique experience a reality.

In 2009, the United States teams representing 365 Sports will be the exclusive and official United States entrants into the Italy Shoot-Out. Teams from throughout Italy will participate in the event. The Tournament is the culmination of the event and is held at the conclusion. Your team will compete in a minimum of four games of international tournament competition while in the Italy.

Location

From ancient Rome to the heart of the Renaissance – Italy has so much history to offer but modern in conveniences. You will visit four of the most popular cities in Italy - Rome, Siena, Florence and Foligno.  The residents of Foligno are the tournament hosts and are extremely hospitable to the USA Teams.  While in Rome you will have the opportunity to visit the Colosseum, Piazza del Campidoglio, the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica. In Siena you can visit the Duomo Cathedral, one of the largest Cathedrals in Italy.  Then in Florence you can experience the Renaissance all over again.
